Galata Through the Ages On the Tünel-Karaköy Route

The Ottoman Bank Museum will be taking part in Istanbul Pedestrian Exhibitions 2: Tünel-Karaköy, with its own project, Galata through the Ages, and will serve, as well, as one of the exhibition information centers.

The special exhibition, GALATA through the Ages, conceived and organized by the Ottoman Bank Museum, has been prolonged until October 30, and will be on display as part of the second Istanbul Pedestrian Exhibition. "Galata through the Ages" opened on April 26 and has been prolonged to coincide with the duration of the second Pedestrian Exhibition. Galata through the Ages offers a historical narrative of the district which played a crucial role in the transformation Istanbul began to experience in the 19th century.

The Ottoman Bank Museum will be one of the two information centers set up to guide visitors and provide them with details concerning the itinerary and concept of the second Istanbul Pedestrian Exhibition, held on the Tünel-Karaköy route, from September 16 to October 22.
